When lifecycle energy is taken into account, disposable batteries typically produce around fifty times less energy than the total energy required to manufacture them. In other words, the amount of energy used to create the battery vastly exceeds the energy it will ever deliver during its short lifespan.

• Switch Off Standby Devices: Turn off electronics at the socket rather than leaving them on standby to avoid unnecessary energy drain.
• Use Energy-Efficient Appliances: Choose appliances with high energy ratings to reduce electricity consumption over time.
• Maximize Natural Ventilation: Where possible, use natural airflow and fans before relying on air conditioning.

Every small shift in daily energy use contributes to lower demand, reduced emissions, and a more sustainable future.
